Okay guys...I got 1600 watts...im gettin two 12's of which ever it is I decide on..CVX's or L7's? I wanna get real loud...somewhat accurate..i mean i want it to get loud as hell but if i pop in a nice rock cd i dont want it to sound like sh**. So...CVX's or L7's and why? thanks guys

Unless you ship defective units here, everyone with L5s and L7s are replacing them left and right. And thats from guys who do it themselves, to guys who pay the shops.
weird when return rate is way below 1% of what is sold, nationwide.

No woofer can be 'user' error, when i see many others woofers, last for years...

show me a moron with 2000 watts and a dd 99z, and i'll show you a blown 99z //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

i'd go with the cvx's in your case.

1% of 10,000 is still 100.

With that being said....it happens, and I've seen it more than a half dozen times.

I will always abide by the old saying "You'll have a hard time putting a round peg in the square hole, and the square peg in the round hole" and stick to a cone that matches my coils.

When voice coils become square, I'll get a square sub....until then, I'll just watch circular subs keep the lead in quality, loudness, clarity, and durability.(CVRs and CVXs take WAY more abuse than an L5 or L7)

since youer not a manufacture, 1% is the norm, for anything...and very well percentage indeed.

Have you ever seen another blown sub, or ONLY square ones? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I have seen "forum boners' blow, so what??

Ironic then if you see blown L series, the CVX has the SAME coil! So now the shape of sub woofers determines how long the coil last....good to know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

PS we have won 100x more SQ, and SPL awards with these L series drivers, then the round ones. So that is, clarity, loudness, and duarbility. But then again, we're just the manufacure, some guy in LA knows better...................//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

In comparison in KICKER...I see more blown L5s and L7s than CVRs. You can put your own meanings to what I say. I dont really care. I'm telling you what I see here at least once or twice a month.

You cant honestly tell me the square subs dont flex.....

I see RE, Fi, and others turning up more numbers than kicker.

By the way......why on the package is says "DESIGNED IN STILL WATER" and then "MADE IN CHINA"

because where its designed doesn't have to be where is manufactured.

If you are joking. its not funny. if your serious.... You are a joke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:laugh:
