CVX vs. L7

What do you guys think? I'm sure the cvx's would have a lil better sq than the L7's. Which would be louder? I know the L7's have more cone area but the cvx's have a higher sensativity...Theyre both rated 1000/2000 on wattage. Tell me what yall think.

how do you know, have u tested the cvx yet? we will not now till somone actually gets a hold of a cvx and tests it out..... let me guess did u base your decision cuz the L7 is square and the cvx is round

I think the L7 will have more output, but the cvx will beat it in sql. But don't get me wrong, this isn't based on first person testing. But L7's are hard to beat in spl. But really it all depends on the install.

NOOOOOOOO, i base my opinion purely on my ears..i know for a fact that an l7 can get stupid loud(with a nice ported box), however is true i haven`t tested the cvx yet...so you are right sorry for the bias opinion, i should have stayed above!

I'd personally go with the CVX,cuz most people dont know about them! and I am sure most people wont have the same set up L7's are just everywhere but anyone u go with should be loud

Isnt there a local Audio Shop in your area that carries CVX's to demo? or if you know anybody that has a CVX for you to check out?

I guy came into my job saying that he had to 15 cvx, i never saw them or heard them so Im not sure if he really did or if he confused them with the comp vr

Cost doesn't really mean all that much, you could have a 12" CVX in a really nice ported box beat the output of a 15" L7 if it was in a poorly constructed/designed box, IMO i think it is all install dependent
