CVX is FREAKIN AMAZING

I was never a fan of kicker but i got a local deal on 2 cvx 15's in a sealed box

I have them off a RF 1500.1, 750 rms each.

I have had 2 xxx 12's, MX, 2 12 SE's.

I heard about this sub in the great 12 test, so when i got these for 180 with the box, i jumped on it.

I got em installed and OH MY. THESE ARE AMAZING SEALED. JUST as LOUD as my xxx's with HALF the power. The SQ is very nice sealed. Hits the lows with authority, don't need a huge box, and not too much power. I am just so pleased with the CVX. I easily fit 2 15's in a sedan and they are great. This is a SERIOUS daily pounder.

Hits every note flawlessy, better than the xxx in my opinion. who needs xbl when you can get these for a steal and have pound with not too much power.

Again for everyone thinking of getting a cvx, GET IT. I have not heard any woofer get LOUDER than a cvx sealed off of 750 rms in my life.

Not sure why everyone is hating on him, cause that woofer does sound fantastic. Will be my next purchase more than likely.

you fail at subwoofers 101.........no way a CVX pwns a XXX.....i don't care who you quote or what testing you've done yourself. I've had/tested both and the older style XXX owns the CVX in all catergories

still.....i hadc one 15" XXX on a MM1400.1 4^3@28 htz and destroyed my buddies 2 15" CVX's on a hifonics 2000 watter in his sealed application. We mic'd both and i had him by 7 db's and mine hit all the notes and sounded much better

Um yea...I used to do that w/ 1 Brahma 10" on a JBL bp600.1

You should be touching a 140 w/ 2 15's on 1500wrms+...even sealed.

I have played w/ the CVX's quite a few times, and I will tell ya...I'm not that impressed w/ em for daily subs. They sound ok, but leave something to be desired. They are decent though.

For daily sound, I just rather DD2500's. Hell, PG RSd's sound ALOT better than the CVX's, and are pretty dam efficient.
