CVR12 a good replacement?

Hey, i was wondering if the Comp VR 12's are a good replacement for my power acoustik fubr-12's(800rms, way too much). My amp is a rockford fosgate 601s and it is 300rms x 2 @ 2 ohms. So, are these a good choice? Or would the alpine type-r 1241d be better? (cant find the 2004 anywhere so it would have to be 2005)

Edit: sorry about the double post, that was a mistake.

Ok, well the fubr right now has the wrong ohmage for the amp i have, and getting an amp big enough to power those would prolly cost more than 2 subs. But ya, seeing as i mostly listen to metal and stuff, sq would be better. But i heard that i should buy the 2004 instead of the 2005, is there any difference or is the 2005 just fine? And one more thing, should i maybe get the 1242d instead? Because i dont want to overpower the 1241's due to clipping. And the 1242's are cheaper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ok, should i go with the 1241d or the 1242d (300rms x2 at 2 ohms on my amp.) Because the 1242 is alot cheaper, but if anyone knows some site where i can get the 1241's cheap that would be great.
