Anyone know how you get things pass canadain customs? Like say i buy an amp taht is say $400 canadian, but from the states.

They then must pass it through customs and i was wonderin how much you get charged? Anyone know? is it the regular GST & PST? or more? or none!!!!(yeehaaawww!)

doubt it...

anyways...anyone have any experience from thezeb or ikesound??

If you drive down to the states and pick it up, say a night(or two...not sure what it is anymore) and they wouldnt charge you anything.

But Jmac's right, you do get ***** hardcore with taxes, etc if you get it shipped to Canada...get it shipped to a friends house in the states, get him to drive to Canada, and resend it from there.

yeah but i don;t know anyone who lives in the states....soo yeah....

i was lookin at the jbl 600.1 so that is 195 US so about 350 per say in canadain funds...i searched around and it costs 625 cdn from any store round here! so how much could the taaxes possibly be?! like 50?? or liek 200??

I got docked $106CAD on a $250USD item...the Second Skin, its only sold for $50, but I got the tax charged on the MRSP or whatever it is, $250.

yeah 380 is still cheaper than the regular 700 at stores

I think 381 for the jbl600.1 was the old price.. now its 400 bucks :|!...

wasn't it if the product is MADe in the USA they are not suppose to charge duty..

yeah AVU does have price match but i don't think it works for internet orders and so forth.....the place called beamriderz has that too....but if they don't want to match it they don't need to.....

my friend works at AVU and they are goin Bazooka now...so what out for that!

and i was wonderin if etronics.com is much for lowin prices if you buy multiple items?

i was lookin at the JBL 600.1 and a set of Infinity Kappa 50.5cs or whatever they are...

i see it would be cheapest to go to them.....that would be like 350 US funds...so u think i could take to the personnel and get them for like 500 cdn??shiped?

i got quoted for 534 cdn for a jbl 600.1 and a set of infinity kappa components in cdn funds...has anyone used this option through etronics.com? they claim that the duties and all charges ar included?
