And then you showed pics of the work you did, on a car with red engine compartment. Along with a story about putting a pipe plug in the car, and adding a blowoff valve to increase the boost. In a 280Zx that has no AFM.

Speed density cars don't need an air flow meter. They calculate the manifold's pressure and the engine's RPM's. Not the air flow. You can still have a MAS on a speed density car, but it is not necessary.

The MAF on a 280ZX is VERY necessary, if you want to drive it like a car.

I'm a huge fan, but that doesn't mean I have to like their junque.

And? I had a 260, 280, and 280 ZX.
The 260 was 165 stock. Freeflow exhaust, freeflow intake, port and polish, tuned headers = >205HP on the very low estimate (15 for header + exhaust, 10 for port & polish, 5 for intake).

This was a bold faced lie.

The 280 was 170 stock. Same work done to it = >205HP on the very low estimate.

This was a bold faced lie.

The ZX was lower stock HP, but let's just say that it wasn't a stock engine to begin with, then it got the same treatments.

So you claim your stock 260 had 165hp, your 280 had 170hp. I am assuming you had the dyno sheets to prove these numbers? Did you have special cars with forged internals that nobody else had? Nissan seems to think their cars made different HP numbers.
