For whatever reason, companies decided to start DEI hiring of pilots. Did you know that? Some ignored the requirements above when doing so. So I ask you Rob... are you going to put your life in the hands of a man with little experience and or no time flying a passenger jet over say a person who has 20 years experience and well over 5,000 hours flying passenger planes just because the company wanted to appear more diversified by having more black pilot's?

DEI means they make sure they have a diverse workforce of capable people, and not fail to hire someone just becasue they are not caucasian. You know, liek RACISTS do.

The fact that EEO, DEI, etc, even have to exist speaks the story.

@THX Looks like it's pretty common for private pilots to fly with no license because nobody actually checks to see if you have a license. As far as the ATP cert, it looks like they lowered standards by creating the R-ATP. It seems like "they" keep lowering standards everywhere in the name of DEI.
