I think that is a bit much. To answer your questions... nobody elected hunter nor made the claim he was elected to any office. But you need to have that out there for some reason so, there you go. I hope your head hurts a little less.

Jay is what is known in politics as a Republican, and was voted in by Republicans.

I'm betting that the Democrats didn't pretend to be Republicans so they could be voted in to the senate and do this to make Republicans look bad.
