I wonder what all this will do to unharmed home values in those hard hit areas? Will they explode because of supply and demand, or plummet, due to, well living in a burnt out community.
Obviously Affordable rentals and housings will skyrocket and people can stay will but most will sell the land and big banks and investment like blalckrock will scoop up entire blocks for cheap. People are still paying mortgage and they need insurance but since state farm dropped them they will be selling quick unless the government stays in. Look at Maui only now they reached a settlement and only a couple people could start building and not to mention slow building permits problems

I was just saying that insurance rates are about to skyrocket. All those celeb's homes and other high dollar homes being destroyed. Also, Scottsdale and Texas may be getting some new residents.
F-me. I'm going to Scottsdale in a month for a soccer tournament. I'm gonna be pissed if my hotel & car reservations are given away.

The honest truth is, they can use the ocean water. We've had the technology for over 100 years. It's all about control. Ten years ago, we passed a bill to build more reservoirs. Where are they? Instead, we have a partially built choo-choo train. Because they feel that is more important.
They'd have desalinate the water. My understanding of the choo-choo train is it isn't even partially built - the money just went poof. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Im sure they’ll increase. Moving forward they need to have better infrastructure to handle incidents like this. Insurance companies may not even insure properties until this is in place.
Actually a bunch of insurance companies left Cali in anticipation of these fires, so a bunch of those properties didn't have insurance.

How is Trump responsible for Cali not having water available and not doing controlled burns, etc?

Reminds me of Colorado forest mismanagement. We have a bunch of dead pine trees due to pine beetles. These dead trees are a huge fire hazzard. The state (finally) started cutting the dead trees down. And what did they do with dead trees? Left them in giant piles in the middle of the forests. If they weren't going to remove the trees any way, why did we spend money cutting them down? Why spend money to not solve the problem?

Hawaii they pass a bill requiring all high rises fire sprinkler systems so many are going to retrofit causing massive increases in maintenance fees also many smaller insurance companies are dropping out. November my Allstate policy just went up 28% my agent said they are not taking any new home policies.

My home policy went up 25% here in Arkansas

Can you please explain what you mean by tabs? Do you mean having forums that read “Subwoofer Recommendations”, “Subwoofer Box Recommendations”, “Amplifier Recommendations”, etc? I had tried to cut down on forums, to make it a bit simpler to go to the correct general topic you were wanting and maybe eliminate some confusion. Also, some forums I either merged with others, or cut out, hadn’t received a post in months or years. The way I say it, the less confusing about where to post, the better. I suppose taking a more general, less cluttered approach.
I'm referring to the navigation tabs. On the home page, maybe have them along the top of the page or going down the page. Maybe have pictures, of shared custom builds, alternating along the sides. Something with more flash that would get people to stop and stare for a minute.

No "try" involved. It was Trump that said those things, not me.
If he has nothing to do with it, then perhaps he should shut the **** up?
Nothing to do with this fire and, Newsom has plenty other options, like build reservoirs.

Again, nice try. Next time, put a little more thought into it.
