A 5.56 cartridge loaded for .223 pressures will work fine in a .223 rifle all day long.
Load that 5.56 for pressures above the safe range for .223 (~55k psi), and you risk your LIFE (remember? He said it in the video your offered to try and prove me wrong).

So, which .223" bullet makes a bigger hole in paper, traveling at 3,000FPS: The one fired from a .223 cartridge, or one fired from a 5.56 cartridge?

Proof once again you can't stop arguing every little conversation. This isn't about if you can get away with under loading a 5.56 however even if you did they are still different OR THE GOD DAMN CHANGE WOULDN'T BE NEEDED.

I will say this, a 223/556 round does not cause the damage that the democrats are trying to push. I can't roll my eyes far enough whenever I hear people, like Pelosi, say that a 223/556 will completely destroy a dear to the point where no meat is left and/or, a huge hole is blown through the target/game.

Here is my theory. The higher pressure of the 5.56 will have it moving faster than the .223 so I think that the slower moving .223 will do more damage to that paper because, this is for Rob, "technically" it will spend more time going through the paper and the friction alone will cause more damage than the faster moving 5.56. Thoughts Old_Slapper?

It's OK that you don't understand the concept of a 5.56 and a .223 being identical for all intents and purposes (as you yourself shared in the video YOU posted to prove your point).
We know that you are easily confused by math and by numbers.

So, are you unwilling to explain the difference in the size of hole a .223 round from a .223 rifle and cartridge punches in paper at 3,000FPS, versus the size of a hole a .223 round fired from a 5.56 cartridge at 3,000FPS punches in paper?
