Yet again, Trump hinting he's not a big fan of our constitutional style of gov't.

trump didn't say he was ONLY going to be a dictator on the first day (which should be enough for everyone); He said he would be one on the first day, leaving all the other days in question.
I think you and I may use different news sources. Do you have any news sources to confirm this "New Constitution" proposal?More than once, Obama stated the Constitution is flawed and outdated. In 2013, his administration proposed what they call "The New Constitution." It consisted of more than 2300 pages. Did you post this info when it happened?
So, are stating that life is much better now than it was 3 years ago? If so, how was life so bad back then?
I worked in DHS, I'm not sure that qualifies anybody to say the Orange Guy is any better/worse than Sleepy Joe. For the record, I pretty much like Trump policies. I don't care for his grating attitude, the "stolen election" and that his campaign manager was funneling internal pooling data to a known Russian agent (which I'm sure Trump was blissfully unaware). After personally witnessing all the corrupt garbage that is taking place, and all the false accusations that were made, what would you do if you were in his shoes? Remember, if your going to show me bad things he has done, make sure it's not worse than the current or previous guy has done.
I'm not upset, I'm just curious. I have yet to find someone who can prove the orange man was worse. Remember, I work for the g-man, so I get to see all the dirt.
I'd laugh if it wasn't true!Yeah Trump!!!

Obama Administration Proposes 2,300-Page 'New Constitution'
Has the Obama administration proposed a 2,300-page 'New Constitution'?www.snopes.com
I'm not going to compare 3 years ago to today. There was a pandemic 3 years ago so the comparison is without basis and utterly unfair to Trump.
Try to stay on topic. Your statements about Obama, since you brought it up, are false equivalences. To correct your statement's, Obama ( a constitutional scholar) offered that he favored changing certain aspects of the Citizens United decisions through the correct processes, a constitutional amendment that requires two thirds the congress and then the states to ratify it, not by the whim of a kings' edict without any conesus from branches of the Government or the will if the people. Agree with the sentiment or not, , HUGE difference.
For the record, here is what was said before you got you info o from faux news.
"Arguing that "unlimited money" in politics is a key cause of polarization, Obama said, "I would love to see some constitutional process that would allow us to actually regulate campaign spending the way we used to, and maybe even improve it."
These comments — made in the midst of a long, big-picture response to a question on political polarization, during which several issues were discussed — go further than many of the president's past public statements. During a Q&A with Reddit in 2012, the president wrote that "over the long term, I think we need to seriously consider mobilizing a constitutional process to overturn Citizens United."
If you truly cannot see why the orange man is a threat to the democratic process, you only have to listen the constant ideological BS that spews from his sprayed on tan orifice on a daily basis. Let's see, think Hitler, think Mussolini, yeah those guys that he mimics on a regular basis. He's the biggest egomaniacal narcissist dictatorial lying sack of hypocritical BS ever to hold the office.
And then you stated...
"After personally witnessing all the corrupt garbage that is taking place, and all the false accusations that were made, what would you do if you were in his shoes?"
First of all, most or virtually all of the accusations have been put to the test by grand juries of his peers and only then was he indicted, you cannot ignore this or make it some sort of hyperbole, 60-1 losses in court against the Con on the very foundation of the BS he has spewed since long before Jan 6th and to date. Why is it that his supports ignore the process that is actually a part of due process - not a made up lack thereof?
The Colorado court the removed him from the ballot was acting on a case that the GOP brought, judges agreed to and that the appellate court agreed with. Under the 14th, you only have to have appeared to have been involved, not have been convicted.
When and where were you personally privy to or witness someone that proved the accusations were not true? pretty sure that the 91 indictments awaiting trial will establish this little bit of information apparently lost most of those that follow the ConMan without regard to what is surely self-evident to those that don't internalize this a s some sort of personal struggle instead of what it is, manipulation of his base for the purpose of attaining power at all cost democracy and our form of government be damned. Wint until you make such false pronunciations.
"Remember, if your going to show me bad things he has done, make sure it's not worse than the current or previous guy has done."
IT"S NOT ABOUT ANYONE ELSE - NONE OF THE PREVIOUS “GUYS” DID ANYTHING REMOTELY SIMILAR TO WHAT THE ORANGE MAN HAS DONE OR WILL DO GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY!
What about, what about, redirection, deflection, all day long does not change the fact the reasonable people can agree to disagree, vote and live with the legitimate outcomes - unlike tRump or is supporters.
Those that display willful ignorance in spite of the overwhelming DOCUMENTED evidence to the contrary and the ability to be manipulated to that end, that is the real danger.
It’s the way, historically; fascist and dictators have overturned previous representative democracies and constitutional republics into fascist dictatorships. (I minored in econ and world history). Go ahead and ignore all the economic data coming out lately, regarding how much better things are as opposed to 3 years ago on what Trump didn't create. I know, but what about, what about - oh please...
It really doesn't matter who or why, it is better so bring up different more significant argument.
It’s enough that good men do nothing and should that be - bad men will succeed. You're on the wrong side of history, one can only hope.
