Those rural med centers don't just close out of the blue. They're usually getting bailed out by the county & state for years before they fold. If it was worth while from a business standpoint, a bigger hospital would have acquired them.

They were in a town of 900 and looking at the map, they're not well positioned to be a satellite, so they were always going to have "low traffic." I'm sure the Medicare cuts don't help and I'd guess they would be more impacted by Trump's attempts to keep illegals off Medicare.

Tons of rural hospitals operate in the red, even ones in wealthy towns/counties.

I didn't say anything remotely close to that. Why did you make up that up to create an argument? Are you unable to look at a factual post and just let it be? Did you even notice that I said Medicare cuts would be a factor in their clocking, which was the point of your post. Even when I agree with you, you still have to create an argument.
