It's an invalid question if you didn't bother to read the article, which outlined the federal involvement. Or you could have just read the headline. But instead you saw Fdump getting credit for something good and couldn't help but run with a narrative that Trump deserved no credit.

See, what I see is D.C. has high crime. Trump is proving if you actually get involved in stopping the crime, you can actually bring the numbers down. So if Democrat run cities with such high crime really wanted to lower crime, they could. Trump is proving it.

If you let people get out of control for too long with little to no consequences then at some point you will lose all control and the only way to get things back in line is with force.

Trump wants to declare emergency so he can get the military involved. Why is Trump so desperate to get the military involved in DC, while he is also floating the idea of violating the COTUS with a 3rd run for office?
