For 380 I found an iraggi alt that does 165a idle and 240a max, but that's a little too much.
alternator isn't where you want to pinch pennies. seriously though i'd go for a 300amp alt at this point cuz if you upgrade it's gonna be needed. i'm a penny pincher myself but if you don't have clean steady power for your amps to run on why have them?

you dont' think 115idle, 240 max on an optima and an hc800 or two would be enough for a powerbass xa-3000d? I just want above 13v to the amp, ideal is 13.8-14v
those things are supposed to draw around 440 amps of current at one ohm
i'm cheap/poor and have wife naggin me all the time yet to me having 3kw on tap but not being positive you've got enough power to juice it up makes little to no sense. even if it's "enough" what if you decide to upgrade later or decide to throw acouple monitors, or upgrade frontstage amp.
EDIT= i know somewhere here there is a post with how to tell how much your amp is gonna draw but i don't know. i'm in same boat as you, gonna install my 1 acoustiks 3000db and hopefully a 2nd within 3months.

3000w could draw around 208.3ampers of current max.
the forumula is (3000w)/14.4v= 208.3ampers
in reality it'll draw considerably less than that

You forgot to account for efficiency young Jedi.
I don't know off hand...but say, for example, that amplifier is 70% efficienct.
(3000*1.3)/14.4V = 270.8A
And on a more realistic 13.8V electrical system;
(3000*1.3)/13.8V = 282.6A
