current draw quesiton

Two amps both have 80 amps current draw. The kicker is a two channel. The soundstream is a four channel. The kicker is ran at 2 ohms mono. The soundstream is bridged to each sub. Will they both still draw 80amps? Will the differernce in ohms load effect draw at all?

the amperage draw depends on the power output...more current will be drawn at full volume than when its down real low.

Ohm load also affects it. when running an amp at 4 ohms, it puts out say 500Wrms. then if its wired to a 2 ohm load, it can put out 700W rms.

You can find the current draw by dividing the power by the voltage. Power=V*I, P/V=I so 500W rms at 12V = 41.667 amps. at 700wrm at 12 volts the current draw is 58.33 amps

sorry for the crappy explaination, I need to get back to work
