Cubic Feet?

How can I determine the cubic feet I need for a sub?

I have 2 12" sony xplods (old models) and I checked web site and they only have specs for the new p5's.

Thre thing is I have those subs in a sealed box and was wondering if I was to just use 1 of them in a ported box would it sound better for spl?

I have a ported box that is about 1 cubic foot, would these be enuff space for one of my woffers.

Whats this supposed to mean?

I know they are not the best but they are what I have and what I will use till I can afford new.

Because even if you do go ported with those subs you probably wont be able to tell much of a difference in the way of SPL or SQ...so save the money you would spend on a box so you can buy a better sub, then have a ported box built for that if you want...

Thats a better plan if you ask me...

You might get a little, but nothing worth spending the money on a new box for...Save up and buy better

I could try but......i've found that trying to talk women into buying things for yourself is pointless...

If i was you, spend money she doesnt know you have, then she cant get mad...
