CT Sounds, DD, Sq, B2... Amp recommendation for SA 12

What amp would you guys recommend that has the best internals to stand up to low voltage(12-13) I've been looking at the DD M1D which I know is underrated or MAYBE even a soundqubed amp. Also a CT Sounds 1400 (formerly Audio Technix) and I've heard good things about B2 which is a pretty new company. I feel like my Sundown SAE-1000d that just went up in flames/smoke just wasn't a very well built amp and am not sure what to get considering I want around 800rms @ 1 ohm and am not sure if "entry level" amps are built with the same quality as say a 5k amps. I'm open to about any brand I just want something that's going to last me a while and wont fry under low voltage. I've done countless hours of reading and can't decide.. Please help me out!

Plenty of power for that sub and run at a min will last you a very long time if installed with the correct electrical..1/2 ohm stable as well if ever needed

DD is known for 12v amps. For a single SA you only need the M.80

Just spend the money on an alt. why risk blowing more sh*t.. if you're gonna abuse the amp geta Hifonics so you're not out another 500 bones when it blows.

If u blew up a sundown 1k amp and think it's not built very well, u sir have mega issues. My guess is hella clipping or bad ground/low voltage killed your amp

Definitely don't get a CT if you blew the Sundown, lol

The ct is very good cheaply built. Like some of the other Chinese amps. The b2. Dd vfl. Saz and pretty much any Korean built amp will do you well

At that point it comes down to size. DD tends to take up less space per watt.

Personally, I would upgrade electrical before I just swapped an amp and broke it the same way.
