crystal

I used to have 2 15"s Prose and they were pretty nice. i don't think they **** at all. They are affordable and sound great. That line was one of my first setups and i really didn't know what i had till i sold it. I was quite satisfied with it. It played fairly accurate and i was impressed with its range. At first i thought these subs would bottom out but they played high and low. Only concern is the output fo these subs... wish i had more time to design an enclosure to see its full potential before i sold them. oh and BTW i'm not sure if that line still exists it may be tyhe PROst now.

here is what the old 12" PROse look like...

that was in my friends truck a while back

here are the new PROst

hrmm how you guys think they would sound for an HT set-up? thats cheap
If I know how to read the T/s parameters right, a low FS is what your looking for...the AA Alliance for example (made for HT use) Has an FR of 14hz while the Crystal has an FS of 22Hz....Meh look for something else....but you can always tune low //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hmmmmm well i never realy had problems with my PROse 15"s (didn't they used to be called Cse as well when they were sold on sounddomain?) anyways from the pictures i posted before in this thread i want to clear up the difference between the 2.

The first picture has the PROse 12"s

The second pic is the PROsT 12"s and i just called crystal to figure out the differences. the guy basically said its the upgraded PROse... they basically redesigned it so that the coil travels longer, theres higher xmax, and larger surround. if you look on the site... i think they handle a bit more power than the PROse line as well. they do not show the PROst line but they do show the PROx2 which is the same basket but with double stacked motor and dual voicecoil.
