So I noticed on Crutchfield that they will pay you cash for your equipment. So I entered in my head unit. Flawless Alpine CDA-9887 that is less than half a year old. Guess what it calculates it to? .... $88.00! Haha! Pretty sure I could get that on ebay if the face was cracked and some buttons falling off.

Heres the thing; You are gauranteed the money by using Crutchfield Trader. Something that is hard to do with Ebay and Paypal these days...

Id rarher take a chance getting ripped off by a scammer than getting ripped of for sure by crutchfield..best buy has one thats a little better, i traded in a laptop that was selling for like $200 on ebay and they gave me $247

Absolutely not, but hopefully not bottom of the barrel dollar. For my example, that's 22% of retail price. You don't get much worse than that.

How else would they make money on anything they buy? Would a pawn shop give you much more?
