I don't think they care that you are listening or not. Some people just want someone to talk at.
This reminds me of our turkey hunting trip to MO last Spring. We were trying to get to some hard to get National Forest land and ended up taking a gravel road through a guys farm was the map showed the road ended with NF access. Well after about 1/4 mile we see the guy get in his truck and follow us.

Dude told us it was all private land, how the NF screwed over the land owners when they built the road, blah blah blah. He was some inbred hillbilly looking mother fker. Then he goes on to talking about his cows, a hydraulic that blew on his tractor that morning, his ugly *** dog that followed him. We tried to leave 2-3 times and he kept saying "Wait and lemme tell you this!"

I felt sorry for the guy. It was obvious he hadn't had much contact with people from the outside in a long time! We kept hoping since we were so nice listening to his bullcrap that he'd let us access the NF land from his, or let us hunt his. But he didn't.

WOw that was longer than I meant for it to be.

I see....but I am sure that is all on the insurance company, and not on the client?
Yes, that is what I am saying. The insurer picks up the tab. The idea is that the insurance company owes the client a special duty when it there is a conflict of interest.

Say, for example, there is a possibility of the plaintiff getting a verdict of $250K but there is only 100k in coverage. The plaintiff offers to settle for $100k.

The insurance company would have nothing to lose by going to trial, but doing so would put their insured at risk. The law recognizes this and says, "we can't tell you that you have to settle in this situation, as that would be bad public policy. If we did that, plaintiffs would always manipulate the situation so that they recovered the full limits in every case. However, you need to be very careful that you do not put you protect the insured's interest. Furthermore, we recognize that an unsophisticated insured might unwisely defer to "his" attorney's advice when in fact the attorney is more loyal to the insurance company, which sends the lawyer case after case, year after year. So, in this case the insured needs an attorney who answers only to him to advise him and look after his interests."

Do you always talk about shit in your life that probably no one cares to hear. I couldn't help but notice the irony between your story and you actually telling it.

people ****. I would walk away from strangers or other people in my office. But this is my boss.

Chev, I know exactly what you are talking about. I once had a lady at work who went on and on. I couldn't stand it, and I just tuned her out. There is no telling what good info I missed because it was mixed in with crap.

2 hours of patience and focusing on one thing is a lot to me. so yes, he took it all up.

I watched 4 dvds last night.
Pineapple Express

Righteous Kill

Bangkok Dangerous

Babylon A.D.

Bangkok Dangerous was the best of the 4.
Only one I have seen is Pineapple Express. I absolutely loved it.

I watched Disaster Movie last night. I figured it would be terribly stupid like most of the spoof's now days, but it was pretty funny in parts.
