They showed the videos from the riots...I had no idea.
Those blacks where complaining about progress...
ie interstates dividing the neighborhoods. Same thing happened to my dad's neighborhood when they built I-24. He didn't complain.
But I am beginning to think that the sense of community is far stronger/greater with the poor vs. middle class.
For instance, my dad knew the names of the people in the houses on his block. The house across the street from me burned down and the police and stuff were trying to figure out if there was anyone in the house...No one knew how many people lived there, their names, or anything...
