Here is a bizarre side note to the whole GPSA conference thing, while i was waiting out in the hall for the dinner to end and the award ceremony to begin up walked senator John Thune. so i talked to him for a minute, thinking "i think this is john thune, but i don't want to ask and have him say no"... then a shook his hand and he left.
