im again bored as shit at work. All my college education in physics and semiconductors, as well as my years in the physics R&D field have all prepared me for what ive been doing for the last two days at work - making labels. Im loosing my mind. Literally. Especially if my only reference to reality while im at work is ca.com.

so i got tinted today and learned that i get most any tv i want at cost through my job today was a good day now i get to take to building some speakers and tv stand for the house since there are no cars in the bay today

that reminds me, I saw one of the new sony plasma's the other day at best buy (was like $2800) ... and all I can say is "WOW" ... and ive been in the LCD / montior industry for a number of years and that was a georgous screen on that thing.

As an installer what do you think about Q forms for a midrange and tweeter?

reinforce them if using anything with any midbass to it and if need be adjust them using mdf rings and such to get your desired aiming they are not bad if you dont mind adding your own touch to them

You may even want to seal the pods. I used the q-logics in my Jeep and they were "meh" at best. A little work and they got better.

The midrange will be playing from 500 - 2.2k hertz...I dunno if that constitutes midbass.

IMO midbass is 80-250hz.

I really would like to get about 8 of those Aura 2" microwoofers and do some DIY jobbies. But I got all of these PG Zeropoint 5.25's for my doors that ive been far too lazy to install.

Don told me not to seal them...I will try that way 1st as it's easier to seal later than to unseal.
I figure 2 layers of deadener (rammmat) should be acceptable.

Just coat the inside with resin mixture. That'll firm it up, then go over it with like a spray deadener. Mine didn't mount right so I sealed them up and bolted them down.
