Yes it is dangerous. The suspension can freeze solid and putting power to it, with it frozen could cause the coils to overheat and fry. That's why I always took my system out in winter.

If me, the reason I posted in "flam jam" was because it was one of the last threads posted in, I looked, saw a vid that dbfan posted and commented about it. Looked back in the thread and saw that it was deleted.
