What is the most anyone here has ever paid for a meal?

$80-Dinner for two. The most expensive meal I've had was at "Tavern on the Green" in NYC...you don't want to know the price:crap:

It was a catered charity event. Surf and turf was served and the meal was actually quite nice. Not worth $500, but the money was for charity not the dinner, so alls fair and I don't think I can really consider this as paying the most for a meal considering the circumstances involved.

Without including that, I have paid near $150 for 2 including all drinks before.

If the quantity and taste is there, then I don't mind it. Not like I do it every night. I am pretty talented in the kitchen myself so the need isn't there, but I like sampling others work.

Probably my favorite food is the Chili Cheese Pup from Krystals.
If I didn't have to eat to survive, then I wouldn't waste the money.

a little over $600, not including tip. That was for 3 people at a nice Italian place.

When i was like 16-17 i would regularly eat at this place and spend $250-300 a visit, but that was because of the ego trip and the fact that i paid for everything with alternative sources of funding.
