Last time I ran the mile, I did it in 9 minutes.

I am trying to get fit and healthy so I can participate in athletic events with friends to expand my circle of friends, get chicks, etc. I don't want to be 50 only to think I spent the prime of my life poasting on a **** internet forum.

If I am remembering everything correctly your pace in the 1.5 mile was better than your pace in the 1.0 mile.

You are well within reach of your goal of an 8 minute mile.

I want to participate, but I don't because I lack the skill and athletic ability to do so. Because I am not naturally athletic, I am beginning to realize I have to work extra hard to do thing things I want to do. I am not satisfied just sitting here. It sucks I have to get up at 5:20 in the morning to be half as athletic as others, but if that is what it takes, that is what it takes.

By best mile ever was 8:45. I am thinking I should be able to hit the 8 minute mile by the end of July. I will try to maintain that pace and then focus on the pullup. It seems like I am making gains too quickly and I am going to plateau soon.
