More to it than just wanting to argue. Lots of time consuming research.

It all depends on the type. Some do a lot of research, some do none. Some never step foot in a courtroom, some routinely work in them. So,yes, there is much more to it than arguing, but to what degrees is highly variable to what field. I will be looking into family law which for the most part, isn't going to require a whole lot of research as things are usually the same routine leg work.

Yeah I know. It did help me secure my financing. And if all goes well I may be able to work on my BS while running the store, but who knows.

Because you see aimless now. I think a routine may be good. Not saying you have to stick around for 20 years, but can help you out of a rut.

That is a romantic view of the job. Rarely happens in the dramatic way you are attempting to paint. That's not to say it doesn't happen of course.

the reason for family law is I think it is one of the few that you can still keep most of your dignity in. Corporate is too cut throat and long hours(especially for a freshie), and PI just has a bad image to me, criminal is definitely not my bag.

I understand that...but that is the hope for research oriented people...to "out-research" and better prepare than the other team. Passive-Agressive runs deep, I'd bet.

You have to find one that works for you. Mine varies in sound...the beeps get faster the longer it is on.
I also have a cat that wakes me up.

The cats work very well. Them *****es make sure they get fed.

What kind of store do you run?

None yet. I am planning on the opening being in October though. Still have to work out a few details on terms of both rental agreements and wholesaler contracts.

It will be a horticulture/gardening store.

In case anybody cares , I think I may have gotten rid of my brother in law. He and some friends came to Detroit to hang out and go to the casinos and bar hopping. (The douchebag didn't invite me) Well he gets arrested for DWI and is spending time in Wayne County jail. My sister freaks and tells me and I laugh. Apparently he got into a wreck and seriously injured someone and can be facing jail time. After thinking it over, I decided to visit him in jail so I could point and laugh at him. I go there and he is all beat up. He claims it was from the wreck but my sister says he got his *** kicked in jail and she's trying to get him out. Well she's really upset and I feel I have to be nice to her. i really am at a crossroads.
