It all depends on the type. Some do a lot of research, some do none. Some never step foot in a courtroom, some routinely work in them. So,yes, there is much more to it than arguing, but to what degrees is highly variable to what field. I will be looking into family law which for the most part, isn't going to require a whole lot of research as things are usually the same routine leg work.Haven't you ever seen Top Gun? You could do it in the civilain world, but the military offers a sense of structure they may be good for you.
