Yup, took an environmental law class a few years ago. Toxic waste torts, NEPA, Clean Air/Water Act cases, ESA, Supreme Court decisions, etc...professor was a great lecturer, but graded horribly. Still, I liked it, all case analysis.

Lawyers do not like "No Diving Signs." If you represent the plaintiff, they harm your case. Defense attorneys do not like them for the same reason.

My professor sucks at lecturing. He just reads straight off his powerpoint slides. I don't learn a freakin thing.

So would a fall in net profit margin but a rise in inventory turnover more likely be from the increasing costs of supplies and a successful investment made the previous two years, increasing their popularity or them discounting their products to move more inventory.
Here is the list of ratios if I haven't listed enough info.

It could be several different things. If you wanted to be a real analyst, you would do the following

1) Read the notes of the annual/quarterly reports

2) Listen to the conference calls to the analysts

3) Call the liason.

I have to do items 1 and 2 for every report I make for class.
