Goob really needs to unleash Tapout on the classifieds. We could also bring Prowler out if retirement for "Operation Cleansweep."

Honestly, the forum could stand deputizing some new gung ho mods with the sole mission of patrolling that section. Of course, not being a gullible idiot would solve about 90% of the problem.

thats asking a lot on this forum. But how would you go about policing that section. Other than what we tried on caj. That pic with user name was a requirement or the thread would be deleted. That puts up a deterrent for some. But look at satan/denial, he took pics with user name and then sold the thing to multiple people and sent boxes filled with garbage in them.

IP checks all around too. But if a person really wants to scam they are gonna get it done. I guess things could go extreme, where you ask for picture ID and picture of them with username next to the item, and a confirmed phone number and address.

^I would ask for all of that if I was going to buy from here. I beleive I asked Jared530 for that (just picture ID and phone number), he wouldnt give it to me. So I didnt buy, then he scammed that person on the xbox. so Im glad I did what I did.

One of the guys that works under me is 50 something and has been with the company since the store opened. Nothings more awkward then when someone looks to him asking to speak with the manager and i tell them they have been.

Your point is well taken, in the end you can't protect people from their own stupidity. I don't buy / sell here enough to really worry about it. I just hate scammers.
