My friend's gf...who is being induced tonight called me crying because my friend was cussing her out because she put transmission fluid in the oil. It's not that big of a deal...hell, I put transmission fluid in my gas tank. The things people get upset about.

I've decided to take up drinking again. I wrote a paper on international trade while intoxicated. It was fun. The body language on females looks so much better to.

Yes, I have always paid a security deposit on apartments. Usually it is after the rental agreement is signed though. Not to just to hold it. The deposit is usually one months rent.

Seems like a ripoff to me...which is why I never rented.
What is striking me as odd is the deals the people are getting on these trailers. These are some pretty good deals. My dad told me to get one and just knock it down when I have it paid off.

However, if I am going to land a good mate, I don't think they would want to move into a trailer.

The house across from me has been for sale for six months....now they are trying to rent it out. They went from $900 to $850...which is still way too high on a $115k (and dropping) home.

I always got my deposits back. If you don't wreck the place and make sure it is move in condition then all is well. I also stayed with big complexes rather than private renters. thats where you find your douches. I don't think I could ever rent a home. The rent is to close to what a mortgage payment would be for me to consider. I don't have a family anyway so regular apartment complex was fine for us.

I was paying $650 to own my first home. This was only $150 more than the last apartment I lived in. Homes were renting for like 700 at the time. I guess if you have a family and terrible credit or tight lending times then this is your only option. I just don't see the benefit.

You do it to keep the seals, etc lubricated. Gas dries them out.

x2. That is why my parents went ahead and bought the house im staying in. Payments are a little over $700 a month. I got an empty room right now after blackie's eviction..but with both room mates paying rent the house payment is pretty much covered every month.

It can make sense under certain circumstances. Today, with home values dropping, I would not think of buying at market value if I thought that I was not going to be in the house for at least three years.

We have always made money when we sold, but that has always been due to appreciation. You just can't count on that now.

You know you are going to lose 6% plus just on commission and closing costs.
