He does have his own living expenses.contact the bank and see if they would be willing to let your sister take over the defalted loan. I did suggest what you said though. It doesn't hurt to see. Especially since houses aren't moving. Problem is she still has to be approved for the loan and while they would love to have someone giving them money, she would still have to satisfy the underwriters like any home buyer would. He mentioned her boyfriend not having a job ATM, so it doesn't look promising in that department. Still worth a shot.
