I also got a question about online orders. My books were ordered and shipped out of Ohio. Why was I charged sales tax?

It's not going to arrive here by this weekend, and all my past orders have taken 5-7 business days to arrive. Something is wrong with their logistics management if they think the quickest way to Michigan from New Jersey is by way of Illinois. They said guaranteed 2-3 day shipping. I have never received a package from them within 2-3 days.

Then you should complain. However it is FedEx(or UPS) who is in charge of the transit logistics. For some reason FedEx(or UPS) has some retarded route going up there.

When coming to me it goes straight to Jacksonville, then tampa. When coming from a non-CA warehouse it is always here in 3 days. CA warehouse has a few more stops obviously but I have still gotten it from them in 3 before too, but the average is probably 4. I usually opt for the FedEx saver, which was a free option. I haven't shopped there in about 9 months though due to no funds for toys, so maybe things have changed.

Who did you order from?

Chances are that the company you bought from has some type of commerce in MI. You may have ordered it from an OHIO location and it shipped from there, but if they have headquarters, warehouses or store fronts in MI you pay tax.

Well, I will admit that sounds retarded at best. I would call and ask why they sent DHL when you opted UPS. They may refund shipping. I have usually had good success with newegg CS.

It was the school bookstore which is operated by Barnes & Noble so I guess that explains that.

Not just one thing, things have been in a downturn for the past few weeks. I think ive lost around $3000+ since November though. Ive been hit hard. Stay on top on SPC with your paperwork payments and records, cuz thats where it started.

Ive had 2 scares in my life. last 2 real girlfriends, late by 2 months. The most recent one, had a positive pregnancy test, then 3 negatives. Since they say false negatives are more common and false positives usually arent false. maaaannnn, I was all like

It's just a USB flash drive and USB cable. They could've put it in an envelope and sent it USPS. I'm just baffled I can't find a decent job when companies have such *** backwards logistics like DHL.

Well shit. I already found out first hand they are a bit inept just gaining admissions. When I had transcripts sent to them, they sent me a rejection letter stating there was no graduation date for HS. I was like WTF? I was admitted and attended Purdue for a little while and they never said this. Sure enough I got a copy faxed to me and right on the 2nd page is the date. ***** must have been high the day she received mine. So I called them up and politely went over my transcripts with them. OK maybe not so nice as I was a bit agitated atm.
Thanks for the heads up though, I will definitely keep up on records. I won't be using loans for the 2 years I'll be there so it won't be hard.

SPC used to be a JC. I think it was 2 years ago they got some accredited 4 year programs.

In any event the only other option for CCs **** ask. I have pasco harnando CC. And everest in Tampa.

Why would I waste money on courses that won't transfer anywhere else?

Pasco Harnando sounds like a spic school so I understand that one. I thought you were just going to add an associates to your resume? I can't believe the community colleges have no transfer programs.

Yeah they are bad. they seem to fuk up a lot. But if you have changes and stuff.....stay on top of them. I had to deal with the school and the va, so it was twice as worse. Had to drive up to Clearwater each time I had an issue. It sucked. But yeah, check and recheck anything they say is wrong or whatever, and always try to get a different counselor for a second opinion. Ive had some say no, then the next says its fine. whew, my transcripts whole nuther....there was a scan in the system, that somehow magically got lost. I paid like $25 for them from Univ of MD, I wasnt going to pay again because of those dumbasses. Then they didnt want to take my HS transcripts at first. It was a mess.

But everything else was smooth, especially once I just started registering and doing everything online.

It basically is, the only difference is that USF took them over. So the credits are interchangeable.
