Dam, I hate when the repair bills start to add up. at some point you don't know whether to do the repairs or punt.

That's the dilemma. A fair amount of the things aren't vital (hoses on oil cooler leaking, etc.). All of the issues are simply routine maintenance issues that have just piled up. New shocks (its still on the original bilsteins at 144k)... blah blah blah.

I really should get rid of the vehicle with high fuel costs looming, but i absolutely love it. The tahoe, despite its 9pmg is the best vehicle i have owned.

We need a voting system. Say 1 guy nominates a new member and he needs 5 members to agree for admittance.

First one to shoehorn in 5 AE's be the victor.

Consider this:

For $1,900 what could you buy? Another POS that needs more problems? At least you know what is wrong with this one and how much it will be to fix it. It is far cheaper to drive this car forever than buy a new one that may or may not need repair. Even if it's brand new, it still may need repair.

But I want to trade my bmw for his tahoe. I think you're confused.
