What is great is that I am getting HD channels without the box. I am pyaing $13.60 for HD cable without the box. Albeit, it's local channels. But still, good times.

Yes, but it requires an antenna does it not? Either way, I get them, they rock, and I am glad.

Nope, ours comes in through regular cable. I only get 11 HD channels with their HD package.

If your TV has a built in HD antenna (which a lot of TV's have now), you can get over-the-air HD channels, without a box.

I have Optimum (Cablevision), and we get all the HD channels for free- I think there's around 60 now. HD box is same price as regular box (I believe $5/mo), but I pay $5/mo extra for the DVR box, which is well worth it. I record so much shit.
