sigh, trying to replace the valve and the inards of the toilet in my master bath. went outside in the 29 degree windy hell that is outside to turn the water off, only to find my water meter and shut off valve is under 12" of watery doom. i was not about to put my hand and wrench into said doom to find the shutoff valve for the house

nope, thats one of the reasons im replacing the shut off valve as well. it wont shut all the way off. i guess im gonna have to wait till this weekend. gonna be in the 60's
