went back to country bar last tuesday night. didnt know it but karoake started at 10. who knew rednecks appreciate old skool rap?? got 3 free beers and a shot of patron.
about 6 songs in, the people i was with were growing tired of all the country singers. none of them had ever heard me sing, but they were aware of the legend. they put my name on the list, and the DJ calls me to the booth. he asks what i wanna sing, and i give him a list of songs i like. he's like "hellz yeah!!!". tells me, im up but wont tell me what song im singing. this place is way bigger than the other place. lots more people. so, sir mix-a-lot, starts up and this group of fat chick to my right go nutz! they all run out on the dance floor before ive even said my first word.
i did hit them with vanilla around midnight. thats when the drinks started coming in.
there was some guy there that thought he could compete with my style, but he was severely outclassed. im a professional yo! he did a lame version of tone-loc. he seemed to have some sort of speech impediment.
cliffs: back on stage at a bigger venue. owned the crowd. SM needs to get some t-shirts and a book deal in the works.
