How much does rent go for out there? here I can get a one bedroom apartment with gas and water included in a nice suburb for $505 a month. I only pay electricity.
Varies greatly on the area you are looking to be in.

Places around here go for $400-500, whereas if you go more north youre looking at a couple hundred more depending on the area.

I currently live in one of the better middle class areas. In the elite areas like Bloomfield, nobody rents anyways. I live only a couple miles from one of the largest malls in the metro area so that's convenient, however traffic is brutal. My apartment is a third floor apartment and it has cathedral ceilings and a doorwall/balcony over looking a pond. Pretty nice place.

Is it by Lansing Illinois? What about Michigan Ave or Lake Michigan?

its natural
i use mine in my bedroom. its a good size. why do you think its not worth it?
The size is fine, I just don't find 1080P to be worth any extra cost for a 37" TV in the bedroom. Its the 1080 that isn't worth it. The size is good.
Tommy, get a 37". The 32" is a bit small in my BR, but if you can save money getting a 720P, I'd do it. That is the part that isn't worth any extra dough.

Well I did a quick search for apartments in hoffman estates and studios started off in the $700 range.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm getting money for xmas to put towards a tv, so I don't mind spending a little more and get the 1080p. When I was looking at tv's in best buy and whatnot, I could see a noticeable difference between the 720 and 1080.

Though I only have regular cable in my room and no bluray or whatnot, so I'm guessing it wouldn't make much of a difference in my case.

It will still upscale but, I don't see that much difference to worry about it for the bedroom, but then again this is probably your primary set not just a BR set. My main TV is a 1080P in the living room. Definitely go 37 if you can swing it though no matter what. The price difference is so minor and 32" is a wee bit small.
