Why don't you become a DJ, I work with a guy who is always going all over the place to DJ usually places like Miami or South America but if he was not married he said he would have a lot more opportunities without a wife to nag about being gone all the time.

It's so hard to get started up in the music biz. If I could choose ANY profession in the world to be, it would easily be a DJ that travels the world. Problem is, I don't really have any equipment and wouldn't know the first thing about getting started into something like that. Who is the guy you work with?

My brother tried and tried to get me to take karate/judo/ju jitsu classes with him my freshman year. He got really into it and won the state tournament in his class.

At the very least he needs to start working out. Maybe even lift some weights.

I seriously doubt it. But if his eye was swollen shut last night, I imagine it looks pretty bad today. Of course my left one is terrible. But not swollen shut.

Bad thing is...It happened in May and now again..Both times from the same guy..First time they ran up behind me..I turn around and WAM!!!!! Knocked smooth out and then the 2 guys hop on me and beat the breaks off me.

Catch up with them in September and he was like "Man, that was a drunk night. You gonna do something or not?" And I didn't do anything. I wanted to sooooooooo bad but I could tell he was scared shitless. I figured that was enough. Well later that night he has like 6 guys come and word spreads fast there gonna jump me. One starts talkin sh1t and I say fuk it and walk outside with him. I beat the breaks off him and tell Bubba to come out. He wouldn't. I then tell the 6'3" 260lb guy he was with to step back in the yard. He got in his truck. Keep in mind, we were outnumbered something like 9-4 that night. And one of my room mates was too drunk to do anything. And they all pussied out.

And then last night he pulls that sh1t. Ugh. I just don't see how people really don't give a fk enough to pull that. He could have very easily got arrested had I wanted him too. if it wasn't for me getting in as 21 with another ID, i would have pressed charges.

For all I know next time I'm at the bar he may walk up and deck me again.

I don't want a criminal record, but by god I want to beat this guy almost to a flatline. Sucks.

It really sucks that you have to deal with this. If he so much as threatens you again you need to call the cops or do something. It would be great to lay him out with a bunch of your friends, but i think you've been doing the right thing thus far... trying to turn the other cheek-- this asshole doesn't want to play by the rules though.

I remember after my incident everyone was saying that if i saw him again we should all just go kick his ***. I said no, i just want it to be done with, not looking for revenge. I wonder if he would've had the same sentiments.

Its funny. I just ran into the guy i used to go back and forth with at work. He's settled down and has a family, nothing like what he used to be. We just shot the shit. Its amazing what time and maturity --for both of us-- will do.
