flip, what kind of grass are you wanting to grow in your yard? how much shade do you tend to have durring the day, I'd definatly square up your yard. A good edging will go a long ways. also try squaring up your drive way with some bricks or some other sort of rock(river rocks would work decently enough as you mentioned in the thread)
