Tear it down and clean the heatsink and re=apply thermal compound and you dont need to speed the fan up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifAnd as for it runing hot, theres a GUI program for dells I used to use for mine when they started running hot. You control the fan speeds and make them go faster. also dust build up is terrible on those.
Just pirate one. It's easier.I think I may build my own PC. It seems like it would be a good hobby.
Yes those speeds exist and an institution like a school should be running on Gigabit. That is just the intranet speed though, not the internet so don't get to excited //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Gigabit has been around for at least 4 years. Nearly all new computers have gigabit network adapters, but the routers are or at least were considerably more than the 100mb/s routers so haven't really taken off too quick for home consumers. Plus most home consumers don't care if it doesn't increase their internet speeds. Not many run a network at home that needs that kind of speed. They would be more interested in wifi for their laptops.btw... ive been meanin to ask youz guyz about somthin i saw in class today
the network connections thing came up on the teachers comp and it said speed is 1gb/s
ive never seen speeds like that, didnt know it was possible
this might be a question for deman
showoff.Just pirate one. It's easier.

When playing or game or something as heavy it didnt matter. And I already said about the dust buildup, its terrible on those. I had to clean it out all the time. Plus it was nice to montor the temp and be able to turn off the fan sometimes too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imdaman.gif.bc6c552e19aa4ad8c47461144f40eb1a.gifTear it down and clean the heatsink and re=apply thermal compound and you dont need to speed the fan up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
You didn't mention re-applying thermal compound though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imdaman.gif.bc6c552e19aa4ad8c47461144f40eb1a.gifWhen playing or game or something as heavy it didnt matter. word. hahahaI bet Dev is glad I wasn't enthusiastic about WaMu
isnt that an assumed part(that doesnt need to be done every time anyway)? I mean its in the tutorial of dell cleaning on the dell forums (problem has been addressed hundreds of times). As much as I had to dust it out in iraq, you think im going to take it apart each time..... HA! I took two screws out, just enough to raise the back right side. You didn't mention re-applying thermal compound though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imdaman.gif.bc6c552e19aa4ad8c47461144f40eb1a.gif
