they did dude, not me. They can pick up a phone just as easily as I can. It's a 50/50 effort. All I'm saying is, they could have called me and talked to me just as easily as I could. so putting this whole situation on me is unfair to begin with. Now, I know when my dads birthday is, I just forget when my moms is. It just looks worse because of everything that's going on.
and honestly what sparked all this "silence" is the last thing my parents said to me was, "we are disappointed in you being a failure at life." is pretty much the last thing said to me. So you take that however you will. But, if I would have known it was my moms birthday yesterday I would have at least called her and wished her a birthday. Now I just left her a card...may call her later. not sure yet.

My parents like me okay. They seemed to want me to get out...but now I go weeks without calling/talking and they get worried. Bunch of weirdos.

Put them on a boat and push them out to sea. That's what I did and worked like gold.

This thread makes me appreciate my annoyingly caring parents. My mom calls me all the time and I really have nothing to say. Me and my father talk hunting a fair amount though.

I go home and I will catch my mom just sitting there staring at me..lol..She begs me to call her.
