Some people are just like that I suppose. I would never ask for compensation if a friend crashed at my place for a week... I'd even let them stay for longer if needed. One of my friends was going to let me stay at his house all summer if I wanted. It probably helps that he doesn't have to pay rent and has an extra bedroom, but still, the offer was there.
Just about any of my friends could stay at my place for free whenever they want. I'd never met Preston before and he even let me stay at his house.

Conclusion:

You should get your shit out of there and avoid this "friend" of yours.

yeah I might just do that. Only problem is I left the key somewhere and I'm not sure where it is. Might have to ninja that sh1t. Oh well. I mean I've let people crash at my place before and i'm not worried about them giving me money. Now they start eating my food that I buy that's a little different because I have to pay for everything now. But as far as using my shower, internet, crashing or whatever I don't care.
