All stock ftl. The blazer was bone stock when I bought it, and I'm leaving the cheap crap that I bought for my temp truck in it.

Hopefully though when I start working next week, I'll get some more money. $12/ hour and working 8 hour days 5 days a week will help some.

You can get some coaxials for about $100. I am thinking there isn't that big of a difference between nice coaxials and componets.

Its a win win situation for you. If you ask for car audio and she hates it, she wont buy it and she will stop asking to buy you something. If she does buy the comp set, well thats obviously a win.
