Once is sounds pretty good...it isn't worth the effort (to me) to sound that much better.

And I think a lot of it is just a matter of one product doing things a little differently than the other.

For example, the SLC's have better Midbass & highs than my old CDT's. But I feel like the CDT's get the nod as far as mid range. Overall, either set is fine.

Running active is one of the things I highly reccomend. There is a lot of upfront work, but it isn't that bad. I think it is something that is rather simple that can really make a system shine.

I've seriously been thinking about it. I may pick up an 880prs and just use that instead of getting a double din.
