BTW, the crisis at sr.com has been averted. I sent a pm explaining that I was not a sarcastic whit guy but rather a sincere African American who could not believe his views were being censored.

oh and this guy at work today was showin off his new system. Not sure what the subs or amps were, but he had 10 eminence 8"s 4 on the front transmission hump accompanied by 4 tweets. then 6"s in the door which i think came stock with his impala (01) as well as stock tweeters. 6 8s on the rear door along with 4 more tweeters. This was all being run off 3 amps. One for the subs. avonics amp or something. Not sure of the other two.

It sounded like SHIT. yes it was very loud from far away, but was distorted. about 20 feet away is where it sounded ok, but 1t 19 it sounded even worse than being far away. god it was terrible. just distortion and too loud and absolutely NO midbass. None at all.

Update: the temporay ban has been lifted at sr.com. He agreed that he had acted in haste.

He did point out that my views on race seemed to be in conflict, quoting an earlier post where I had called the Civil Rights Act of 64 "ill conceived." lol

I pointed out that Clarence Thomas was once the beneficiary of an affirmative action program, but now opposes AA on principle.
