I just spent a couple hours walking through Lowe's.
Teh gf wants a side-by-side fridge...I want one with the top freezer. I just don't like the s/s. Especially the freezer part where stuff gets pushed to the back, never to be found again. I think I will get the top-freezer one anyway. She wants the side-by-side for the water dispenser.

Also found a range....They are nothing to get excited about though.
Bottom freezer is where it's at. Side by side is shit.
 
Yes, working out
The instructor liked how I split up the cardio. This working out makes me sleep a lot more. Sleeping around 8 hours/ day now..up from 5.

I am getting where I am pushing myself pretty hard on the elipictal. I still takes me ~20 minutes to run 1.5 mi.

The interesting thing is the energy level I have after working out. Used to, when I would drive home, I'd be falling asleep and whatnot. Now I am pretty energized. I hope 3 days a week is enough. I also stopped drinking on days I work out. And for some reason, fried food isn't tasting good anymore.
I know this sounds totally lame being that I don't know you from Adam but I'm totally stoked that your following through!

Keep it up man! Set a goal for something huge (I suggest 10k or half marathons but people usually just laugh at me) for a "I made it" goal.

I love the energy feeling myself. Almost like we are always poisoning our bodies and when we do what we are supposed to, the body acts better.

The goal is mostly to not be so tired doing everyday activities...I mean I walk up 3 flights of stairs and it gets the heart racing. The goal is to do the 1.5 miles in less than 15 minutes....not sure where that ranks on health...but whatever.
But I do the eliptical on high resistance to maintain a steady pace. That is one of the things the workout person told me. I'd run and then try to slow down. The higher resistance keeps me at ~150 strides per minute.
Yep, your doing it right. Just dont' get attached to one machine would be my only suggestion. The body adapts way too easily. Switch it up and keep it hard. (EDIT: I could ninja edit this really gay comment, but I'm just going to leave it LOL, you know what I mean)

 
I alternate between the treadmill, bike, and eliptical. Each day I pick two.


Indeed. I am not sure if I want to make that large on an investment right off the bat.
I wouldn't in the first home. In fact I didn't. My first came with a fridge. Standard builder grade top freezer.

We did buy a new range for it though.
