I don't get excited easily. It will be nervous nervous nervous....until closing date. Then relief. I won't even move in until August.
No IB sub....lol...I am pretty interested in that Orb Audio offerings for living room and keep the polk stuff for the bed room. The Orb stuff looks quite nice and very clean....supposed to sound pretty good, too. The set I want it ~1200. I also need a new TV for living room, as my 30" won't cut it. I considered getting a projector but the all-in cost of $2-2.5k and consider how little I watch TV, it's a no-go. I figure I would go TV less in the living room until Black Friday sales.

Yes it does. I am thinking I am very undercapitalized for the project. I forgot things like rugs, blinds, shower curtains, lawn mower, etc. I hate to borrow to finance these things. I figure I would just cash flow them as I was able.

Will do. It's very plain jane...But I like it.

If you heard an IB you'd change your tune. It blends like nobodies business.

Just saying...it's just a list of things I didn't think about. I am continually making a list of what I think I need....things like pots and pans, food, range, fridge, etc.

You'll be alright. I got in far more over my head than you on my first. My timing turned out to be perfect but I really did jump in all the way in a time when I didn't make hardly anything I do now.
Cutting ceilings is nothing and can be brought back to original over a weekend Keep up this negativity towards the IB and I'll force you to build line arrays
