I watched it.
It was stupid. I would have demanded a paternity test off the bat.
so this movie was about a cheating wife?

oh oh oh, i was speaking to my ladyfriend and she said the same thing you coworkers did. She told me we should watch the notebook together, and I asked her if it as about cheating, or had something to do with cheating. She said no. Then I read the description dbfan gave, and it did have to do with cheating. When I talked to her about it again, she said it wasnt cheating and I explained how it was cheating. She then said "well technically, but she wasnt cheating on her true love, so that doesnt count" or something like that. The discussion went a little further than that. I was just surprised that she watched the movie and it didnt even occur to her that there was cheating involved. girls just see is as a love story. Fascinating. Mindboggling even.

cliffs: women think its ok to cheat if its for "true love"

Naturally.
Indeed. I am so hoping this bill gets passed where you have to prove who the father is before writing his name down on the birth certificate. What used to create division in relationships due to mistrust is now standard operating procedure. I wrote that state rep a letter of praise. Hopefully, the bill will be passed in some good form. I am watching it closely.
They are trying to exclude married people from having to do paternity tests. My dad says this may be bad as it ruins families. He began to ask whether I would walk from a family if I discovered the child wasn't mine then realized he knew I would before he finished the question.

I have not seen this movie, but due to this discussion I feel I need to. Interesting phenom Flip has discovered.

No, it was a movie where some kid gets dropped off at his doorstep and the kid says that he is the father without any proof or anything. I know if some kid showed up on my doorstep, I'd be calling the police.
I think that would be the reasonable reaction. I can't imagine doing anything else.

wtf? i definitely dont want to see that trash. why would......

not even worth the discussion

You should ask her, "how does she know it is her true love", and what if she is wrong. If she is wrong about the true love then she did not cheat with her true love and is a scamming whore who should be burned at the stake.
I basically said that in one line

"that is the dumbest shit ive ever heard, its just an excuse to cheat"

she said to me

"you just havent found true love yet"

i will, ill probly be talkin to her here in a few. she wants to come read my essay. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. YEah I mean her whole explanation was just one big excuse. I also said "so if we ended up together and almost married, i would have to be worried about your true love coming back around randomly?"

oh and that chicks mother was involved in it too. Didnt even really get along with her mother but they collaborate for the cause of cheating. women are scandalous, b.

I havent seen it, i just read the cliff notes version.

Sometimes I cannot tell when Who? is agreeing with me or being sarcastic.
jut assume he is always agreeing.

I guess she is going to keep sleeping around until she finds it...and when she does, all the whoring she went did will be justified.
Like that saying about kissing a lot of frogs before you find your prince. Instead of kissing, they are ejaculating on thier stomaches. I guess the analogy applies.
that is a good analogy.
