Funny thing happened the other night. I dressed up like an Asian (with a funny hat) and went and played poker. This guy kept making oversized bets, but I kept calling. Little did he know I had a great hand -- a flush draw. I hit my 5th diamond and the river just like I knew I would.

I have come to the conclusion that most people here do not know how to cook.

I tried to make an omelet last night. Got turned into scrambled eggs.

I really just need to go buy a bunch of kitchen utensils and tools so that I could cook properly. Hard to flip an omelet with a half melted plastic spatula. Don't even get me started on how hard it is to find good quality cookware for a decent price though.

Speaking of political shit, I came so close to just flat out failing my Global Issues exam.

The test consisted of needing to write a short essay on two out of three general issues, economic, foreign relations, and military, based on questions and stances to defend provided to us. Took about an hour right before class started to gather the 6 sources that were required for the essay. Not a single **** one was relevant to any of the questions he asked so I had to bullshit their way into my essay. My answers were surprisingly coherent and I suspect I'll make at least a C. Hoping for a B.
