Whole story is problematic, as they play far too many tournaments...where everyone is technically "away"
As it states home court is less likely to effect the outcome comparatively to baseball and football which are played outside and on different services.

It was mostly about underdogs/favorites not home/away.

I have never been to a steak house that was able to improve on the taste of a fine brew. WAY worth the $180 bucks. Mrs. Monkey even said it was better than Morton's! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
Wonder how this would compare to Flemings?

May have to check it out....

I see.
I only read the 1st couple pages...I am reading this article on labor rates/minimum wage now...turns out, I may have had something wrong...

I used to always be against the minimum wage increasing, but it seems as if there is a minimum wage "floor"...where prices do not decrease with less labor costs.
In basic economics it is taught that it is a bad thing as it eliminates jobs but in real life it is necessary due to inflation.

Yes profit in turn goes up as oppose to consumer costs.

Unless you go by the economics definition that dictates a raise of 2% yearly (or whatever) for inflation. Personally I have never gotten less than a 5% raise yearly. Otherwise I would seek new employment.

Why would you?
Are you arguing if there were no inflation, there would be no reason for a minimum wage?

Depends on the scenario. The minimum wage wasnt put into effect until this previous century (at least in America), so I see no reason for us to have one under the barter system or back in the day. But with the dollar being where it is than yes it is necessary.

You know better than anyone that its not black and white.

But thousands and thousands have lost their job this year, have been replaced with lower paid workers (ie circuit city)...
I have never heard of this economics definition.

The 2% raise implies 2% inflation...only maintians purchasing power...

That seems to imply the basis for wages increases is so the employee can maintain purchasing power.
And thousands more will continue to lose their jobs. But also take into effect how much smaller our workforce will be in 10-15 even 20 years from now. Outsourcing is not all bad as otherwise we wouldnt have the labor force to meet our needs.

That is exactly what it implies. And maybe economics definition isnt the correct term but its all I could come up with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

But outsourcing leads to overpopulation. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
How? In excess it is bad without a doubt. But as the baby boomers retire there are a lot less gen x'ers and y'ers out there to take there place so it is a neccesary evil.
